When there are mishaps related to forklifts, both the individual and the business will suffer. There are many reasons why employers should take steps to minimize the risk. Among the biggest reasons is to avoid possibility of lawsuits if somebody is injured. Secondly, accidents cut down on working time. Third, property and goods could be damaged during accidents. Most accidents are attributed to employees who are not trained. Employers are responsible for making sure that employees who are using the forklift are trained in safety and risks.
