Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machinery have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers could really help you complete all your requirements, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. When both precision and accuracy are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been engineered and developed in order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to position materials in a more accurate manner. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to place loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being designed and developed all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to know the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom would compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
