Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck providing versatility and great height. The crane, or arm, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to maintain a high degree of control while lifting the load to great heights. Regular lift trucks aren't able to move the load away from and towards the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally utilized in both agriculture and construction. It is recommended for applications where greater control and lift is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It comes with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck will usually utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specially to hoist employees. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a chain or strap which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
